AMAZING -- my family (we live in the Harding/New Vernon area) has been ordering from Chakra on delivery for a number of months now. This has become our FAVORITE Indian restaurant in the area compared to many others in the area. The staff (including management) are receptive to feedback, and the food is just absolutely delicious. We have various spice tolerances in our family so they are able to adjust them appropriately. We couldn't recommend them more highly for either delivery or the in-person experience.

Second time we have had the pleasure of eating here and it was fantastic. From the cauliflower appetizer to the chicken korma & chicken tikka masala and rosemary naan everything was delicious. The service here was also top notch. Give this place a try and you will not regret it!

5 star restaurant with 10s⭐️ services!!!! Thank you so much Ashin and Paji( Owner) for delicious food and an excellent service. We always feel warm welcome from you and your staff. We rushed to the restaurant on closing time and the owner of the restaurant served us the food just same as opening time. Food is always excellent and so does the service!! Best experience ever!! We wanted to celebrate birthday after dinner and forget to bring cake from home. We just requested ice cream and owner went nearby store and bought ice cream cake for our birthday celebration!!! My words can’t describe our happiness!! Thank you so much for making our celebration so special!!

Wanted to visit this place ever since it opened! Finally got a chance this week to go with my colleagues. Parking is always a challenge when heading to any restaurant in downtown, but since it was a weekday, we found a spot easily. The entrance and ambience are fabulous — with Buddha statues placed at the entry and throughout the restaurant, and beautiful hanging red/lavender tree leaves adding a lot of charm Coming to food, as we were party of 7, we ordered * Kale Pakora * Bhindi Churi Muri: crispy, veryt thin slices of ladyfinger- good 4/5 * Lasooni gobhi *Tandoori Medley: mixed platter. Honestly, not sure why they’d include large chicken pieces here; felt like something borrowed from a buffet platter. The only items I liked were the mutton seekh kebab and prawns. *Gobhi Manchurian: too much sauce – 3/5 * Jhinga Masala: tomato-based gravy with prawns, nothing extraordinary, 3/5 * Bhuna Gost : nope, could not find the gravy… 2.5/5 * Lamb Biryani: average and disappointing, 2.5/5 * Eggplant Bharta * Gobhi Paratha, Tandoori Roti, Garlic Naan, Laccha Paratha * Jaljeera, Lassi, Lime soda To be honest, food was pretty average. I visited this Indian restaurant on my visit to Morristown. This is located in a busy junction and mid of town. Parking will be challenging but after couple of rounds found parking in front of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is amazing and definitely feels special. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They had a buffet for their lunch so decided to go with that. The collection in buffet is very good for the price. Also they provide the Naan/Bread to the table and also the Tandoori chicken apetizer to the table. Those 2 were very good, rest of the buffet was good but I wouldnt try that next time. Noodles was good, gravy tasted bland to me, Overall it was a good experience and will visit this restaurant again to try their ala carte menu.
